I’m just gonna leave this here with a quick headcanon:

Zuko keeps his hair short for some time because he knows how much he resembles Ozai, and that scares him. He’s so, so afraid of growing up to become like his father. So when he finally becomes a father, when he finally realizes that he might actually be different, and when he understands just how much he loves his daughter, he is able to build up the confidence to grow his hair out. Hence, his appearance in the gAang poster.

And yes, this is Zuko and Katara’s daughter. You all know I’m not about to compromise on that.
